Reedy 767 and 766 are great for offroad and about $3 a pair
Trinity XXX Lemans are great brushes but they cost about $10 a pair.

I agree with Pat on the 767's. I run them all the time and have nothing but good luck with them with all my motors.
Have not tried the Trinity bruches but not really into pair $10 a pair either.
Most of the time you can find guys on the boards selling the 767's for about a $1 a pair or so if you happen to catch them.
See ya later,

Another good option that often gets overlooked are the "ET Racing" brushes from RC4Less... I've had very good luck with them -- they also work very well in 19turn motors (our local track has a big 19t turnout of buggies and trucks)...
Very economical too!

I always had good luck with the Putnam reds in offraod, with heavy springs.

I use the Reedy 767 in all stock and 19turn spec motors, seems to run a little more consistant than even the Putnams - but these are great in oval (Green/Blue shunt combo). RC4Less as nice prices on the brushes, most will agree and you can pick up some bulk springs.
