arcor rules spec truck
spec 4 cell batt
trinity spec motor
spec cap tires
open chassis
truck body

touring oval
stock motor
6 cell batt, max 4200 mah
rubber tires

8.0 breakout
run what you brung, dont go faster than 8.0 per lap
no foams


should be alot of fun, racing starts this sunday at 1.30

2006 ASPHALT OVAL RULES:

1/10 Scale Electric – 4WD Touring:


1. Chassis to be 4WD Touring Car Design with Touring Sedan type body, 190mm and 200mm allowed.
2. Drive System may be either belt or shaft.
3. Motors to be ROAR Legal 27 Turn Stock, with full face brushes. Any spring combination allowed.
4. Batteries to 6 cell, 4200 mAh NiMH maximum are allowed. Cells MUST be identifiable.
5. Any style of connectors, batter to ESC, ESC to Motor may be used.
6. Gear Ratio will be open.
7. Rear of Bodies may be cut out to within 1" of Rear Deck. Wings will not be allowed.
8. Rear Deck Spoilers typical with body type shall be utilized.
9. Tires: Rubber or Radials, Slicks or Tread Design – No Foam Tires Allowed.
10. ESC’s with Reverse Allowed – use of reverse Prohibited during competition.
11. Minimum Weight with Battery and Transponder Installed = 2lbs 9oz.



1/10 Scale Electric - Sportsman Spec Truck:


1. Any 1/10 Scale 2WD Oval Chassis, wide and narrow chassis allowed.
2. Body must be NASCAR RaceTruck Style Only. No Street Truck bodies allowed.
3. Motors: Trinity #SS2226 Rebuildable Street Spec 21 Turn Motor, 12 Degree Fixed Timing.
4. Brushes: Full Face Race Prep Type "R" or Finish Line Type "F"; Serrations Allowed, any spring combination.
5. Batteries: Trinity Street Spec 4-Cell 1600 mAh Batteries Only. Cells MUST be identifiable.
6. Motors and ESC connection may be direct solder connections. Batteries MUSH have Connectors.
7. Gear Ratio: Open
8. Rear of Bodies may be cut out to within 1/2" of top of bed.
9. No Wings Allowed.
10. Bed spoilers to be utilized rather than wings – Max Spoiler Height 2”.
11. Tires: Spec Capped Tires Only. Tires MUST be visually marked as a Spec Tire.
12. Minimum Weight with Transponder and Battery Installed = 2lbs 9 oz.

10. Race Length: 5 Minutes
11. Any lap time faster than 8:00.000 seconds will not be counted in race totals.

i dont remember talking about 6 cell, but i really dont think it matters... this is supposed to be the run what you brung class.

I think myself and Chris that was driving Brooks truck would have been 1 & 2 if we could have got the race in. Man that was so much fun! They are going to make it up July 29th. They are having the second part of the state race in Fox Mountain June 17th. You guys need to check these out.

,am i tell you what dean.. that ashville track is a tough track. get some nitro touring cars down there and ill be in. lol.. had a great time up there this weekend sure wish it wouldnt have rained our trucks were both fast. wish harold wouldnt have wrecked me id like to have seen what i could have ran.. i dont know if we will be able to make the race on the 29th i think brooks has wedding commitment that weekend.. we'll see you soon

bryan is too hardheaded to go anywhere... if we tried to help him set it up he would just act like we didnt know anything. i hope he races trucks at his track... that way he will have to ask to go fast, i dont think he can do it on his own.

It looks like we will have 6 to 7 trucks for sure Sunday. Thats with Brady not being there. I thinks he's going to be racing in NY this weekend.

I'm going to NY, but I'll be racing in PA I'm leaving 5 am sunday morning, so i will be racing in PA next saturday

So what classes is everybody gonna run Sunday? I'm not too keen on running 8.0 with the TC as the Spec Trucks will be faster. I may skip this Sunday if there is not a regular TC class.
