Unfortunately, I'm not suprised. I was an early supporter of the series, getting a big kick out of the monster-movie homage flavor to it. The way they crammed in so much into the the last three episodes certainly didn't bode well for it.

I'd like to see a DVD set with the story fleshed out, so that the ending wasn't so rushed.

What didn't bode well was having freakin' weeks and weeks between episodes!!!

I loved it but totally lost track of it after they started going on their months long hiatus'es.

What the heck was up with that? Another case of some corporate wannabe-know-it-all getting too damned smart for their own good!

I just chalked it up to ambitious production values. Like "Lost", I don't get uptight about it - enjoy seeing them when they are air, enjoy the nights off when they run repeats.
