i hit my local Kmart wednesday and score the new 2006 edition ERTL john deere construction replicas ! they are somewhat the same as the 2005's , but on the bottom of the package it says : copyright 2006 RC2 brands .

anyway i got a replica of the EXCAVATOR ! this piece of machinery has always been my FAV since i was a little boy ... so i just couldnt pass it up ! and by the way these are the 1/50th scale diecast replica collection .

and these also are $10.99 + tax at kmart ..... now walmart had some but theres were the 2005's ( package had 60th anniv. markings on it . the new packaging DOES NOT .

well after 33 viewings of my post about me NEW find " NOBODY " has said anything ... it seems like if i find a white lightning i get tons of replies , when i find anything else i DONT . so i tell you what i will do .... i just wont post my finds on this site anymore . i dont HAVE to post them ... i just did it to see what other collectors would think of my finds . well hehe i see what they think of it ... they dont think crap about it .

I collect construction diecast also. I collect the CAT Earth Scrapers.

..haven't seen the Ertl John Deere collection here yet..have seen some listed by OLDs and on E=bay..plan to purchase a few for a diorama....I like the tractors.. :thumbsup:

I think that you made an excellent find. I just didn't comment because I only collect 1:18ths.

I saw them yesterday here in WM in Western Canada . Didn't buy any, but I looked at em for a second. There's a lot who collect construction, and a lot who don't . I guess all the looks and no replies to your post may be because of a number of different things. I wouldn't read too much into it if I were you
