Did the truck this morning before work and just finished the '55.

The Silverado is from the 5 car box set of Working Class. A friend of mine has the '02 in a slightly darker blue. I got rid of the Nomad Gold tampos, and just added some blue flame licks. Applied some Testors bottle clear coat on the flames and a few other things, and done. Looks much better in hand. I was gonna give it to him today, but he took the day off.

The '55 is from the Classic Gold series. I removed the silver paint on the side trim, got rid of the hood and motor, inserted the Nitro Coupe's engine, and added flames. Just need to clear coat them.

Not having to paint a car for a custom is so much easier.
Thanks for the look.

Thanks gunn.

I'm not a Chevy guy, but man, I'm already missing that truck. I'll have to find another and buy some more flames.

Cool customs Bill, I like the '55 Chevy good combo with the Yellow paint and flamage.

Maybe the Silverado would look better with a big bad blown Nitro motor in it.

I was seriously considering it, and even though my buddy loves big engines and drag racing in general, I left it stock thinking he may like it more as it's closer to his real truck. Maybe the next one.

Seems like forever since I did those. Anyway, I did remove the hood and put in a JL blown engine. I asked my buddy first though, and being a big motor fan he said go for it. With him keeping it at work, I'll have to see if I can get a new pic.
