The R/C Pro Series is going Nitro Dirt Oval racing.

Carlton is still finalizing details but in 2006 there will be a limited 5 race schedule (1 in each region ) likely staring in July. Their will also be a National Finals race , track TBA soon.

2007 the series will go to a full schedule 15 to 20 races with a final. Look for more detail on the R/C Pro site soon.

This is a huge positive for the sport, as Carlton’s full time job is promoting and running R/C race events. He has had most of his success in the off-road area but his an oval racer at heart.
For those you who have been to the R/C Pro off-road you know how well the series run. This season the first five regional event are complete sell outs. (Over 200 racers at each event)

Spread the word this is going to be fun.

only problem with the series is that your custom works nitro gsx intimidators and your nitro terminators are not welcome unless you convert them into trucks. two of the best dirt oval nitro cars out there on the market and there is no class for them in this series.

rules have been changed and the intimidators and terminators are now legal.
