They should design a modular tool. Just think of the possibilities:

GM Nova/Ventura/Phoenix/Omega/Skylark
GM Monza/Sunbird/Starfire/Skyhawk
Mopar Cordoba/Charger (Magnum would require a new body tool)
Mopar Volare/Aspen
Mopar LeBaron/Diplomat
Ford Granada/Monarch/Versailles

18 cars out of 6 tools.

I know these were mentioned, but the first two I thought of:
1972 Gran Torino Sport
1971 Cougar
Also, a nice Lincoln Mark IV
Scout SSII
1981 Jeep Scrambler (for obvious reasons)

I'd like to see the Torino, Cougar, and Mark, and, while they're at it, the Montego GT off the Torino tool.

Yeah, the Montego would be cool, and pretty unusual. As long as we're on Mercury, one of those old Marauders would be great.

I've been wanting a 1/24 scale '70 Marauder for years.

What a great list! I see very few cars on here the I wouldn't buy!

I often see people requesting the Granada/Monarch and Aspen/Volare. These 2 would be near the top of my want list too.

ok, newb here, so if I can add to the discussion, I would LOVE to see the old international scout, in that ugly goldenrod color! I just recently discovered the fresh cherries after becoming disenchanted with my previous hobby, wont say the name but it rhymes with "hotwheels" ;) These cars are amazing, the detail, the awesome castings, and the thing I have missed for years, the weight of the cars! thanks!

I think the Cherry Poppers are suppose to be compact and sub-compact cars from the 1970's. I think they should use some of the later AMC Gremlins, the 1977 I have as a real car is a good upgrade candidate.

Note the slope in the front fenders and the different tail lamps.
