Friday after work I stopped at the antique near home, and left with three old Matchbox cars. I have never spent this much on three cars  , but I am so gald I did. They are in great condition and make an amazing addition to my collection.

The first one is a Ford Zephyr 6 Mk III from 1963.
The second is a Jeep Gladiator Pickup Truck from 1964.
The last is a Mobile Canteen Refreshment Bar from 1959. (This is my favorite of the three.)

Thanks for your comments. The mobile canteen is now in a display case and shows really well.

I've never seen that Canteen. My uncle has one of the best MB collections I have ever seen and he doesn't have it either. Great pick up!

It really pays to haunt the local antique stores. I've been on vacation for the past three weeks, but came home with new cars, rather than any oldsters.

That canteen is one of my favorites too. It also comes in an off-white and a pinkish cream color. The white and pinkish cream ones are very expensive, here is a restored off-white one I picked up off ebay.

Wow! Chrycopaul, that's a nice combination of toys. You can park the refreshment trailer in my yard!

I think the Minx, with its small four-cylinder, can barely pull that canteen. At least the proprietor doesn't have to worry about speeding.

When I was little, one of my friends had the Refreshment canteen. It was already about twelve years old, older than we were. I liked it then - not my "most wanted," (that would've been #27B the 1958 Cadillac 60 Special) but very impressive.

Paul, it looks like your Minx's off-white paint is more richly colored than mine - probably just the lighting!
