I want to get back into electric kits and I have no clue of what I should get. I have an old TC3, but it's the RTR version so it sucks. I was considering getting the BMI chassis for it, or maybe just getting a new kit all together. I was looking at the Trinity T-spec, is it any good?? . .I don't know whether I should hop up my TC3 or get a new kit, what do you guys suggest???? I want a kit that's decent when it comes to drifting and since i'm sort of new to this hobby I am looking for something affordable and something that offers a lot of parts so I can really upgrade as I get better . . .

i would stick with your tc3 then.you can find plenty of hop ups and parts for it.the trinity spec dosent even come close to the tc3 and i would save your money to make your tc3 better then spending my hard earned money on the spec thing.

I would see what the guys are running in your area. You have to weigh the costs of upgrading vs buying new or used. I would check and see what a used T3 is going for. Then add up all the costs of the upgrades and if it costs more to upgrade then get rid of it. But a new T4 with all the bells and whistles will set ya back a few dollars. I think that car could still be competitive. Its not lke it's 10 years old. If your just getting back into it your going to have to get new batteries, mototrs, ect... You could check for a good used car at the local track or Ebay or on the swap boards. Somene is always getting out of the hobby or upgrading you can find some deals out there.

if I where you I would stick with the tc3, if you where to buy a new kit I would check into something elese other then the T-spec just look around. you can find a good used HPI pro 4. or a used factory team tC4. you can find them pretty cheap if you look around hard enough,

Thanks guys . . I think I will stick with the TC3 and just upgrade it as much as I can. I'll get the BMI chassis, this might be a dumb question . .but like i've said I haven't been in the hobby for a while . .I just wanted to know how strong of a chassis the BMI is. The original graphite chassis that came with my TC3 looks pretty sturdy . .but it also looks pretty ugly . . .lol. The carbon graphite chassis from BMI should be stronger right?? . .I'm just asking because I know as soon as I starting using this car again, I won't exactly have the best driving skills and I don't want to have something that will shatter if I hit anything. So would u guys suggest getting the BMI chassis or sticking with the original TC3 chassis . .and also which one would be stronger?
