Nor Cal Drag Association member, Aron Camp ran a 1.5917 @ 74.60mph today at the NCDA Test & Tune today! It was Aron's one and only run in his 20 cell extreme rail, he say's it has more in it! Ken Key ran a new TF Dragster track record today in his Walbern nitro rail running a 1.74! The Super Gas cars were all bunched up running mid 2's with some GREAT match racing all day. We also got to shake out Jeff Key's new Trac mate system, it's a really nice setup with 6', 66' and mph printouts. Everyone had a great time, it wasn't sunny, but it wasn't raining either! www.imdra .com

Yes he did click it early but it had super low gearing which will change at next run.

How did the track mate system go? The website doesn't provide a heap of info on the setup. Could you also post some other pics of the track layout, if you have them.

Thanks

The Trackmate system works very nice. it uses a windows pc to operate the control board. My system has pre and stage, 6', 66', MPH and ET sensor beams. Super easy to align, with LED's on RX boxes and same on PC screen to see signal strength. the software allows you save all runs in a TXT file then download to preset fields in Excel for further manipulation of data. Once you input class, racer and car info into database it is there. My receiver beams are powered from 110vac 60 hz and the outside transmit beams are powered by li-ian batts at 8.35 vdc. It does pro tree (adjustable reaction time), full tree, and does both with dialins. It uses an inexpensive printer for time slips ($200 us) point of sale printer that runs on com port. You can input any heading in you want to printer and change font size/type. I'm using a older pentium II with 384 mb ram. Very happy with system. Trackmate has just introduced a inexpensive single lane et/mph timing system that uses a handheld control box with user selectable track length and trap length comes with 2 each tX and RX beams and cable for 150'. All powered by 4 "AA" batts in each box. What is relly nice about this system it is being built so the beams are the same ones I already have and the control box is being built to run the full tree without a pc (without all the features pc supplies). So if you purchase full system your boxes and cabling already work with new larger system.

Send me an e-mail and I will send you pics of track, tree and tree stand/island we built. There are all to large of pics to upload here.
