After a couple a months of fooling around with the old briggs, I finally buttoned her up today. Was able to get flywheel off to see what was burning up, and it was the charging system, so thats disconnected and out of the way. It was fun trying to get the subborn flywheel off. Stupid thing was like welded on. A few swift smacks with a hammer fixed that up though.

Have to do some final adjustments with the governor and will be able to do some yardwork!!! Yaaaah!!

Was hoping it wasn't the alternator.... you'll have to keep a charger on the battery if using a electric start, unless you have a pull start.

Yeah, I figured I'll get a couple of starts per charge. That won't bother me none... atleast it's runnnin'
