hi everyone.could someone help as i am very new to the rc world.i have just brought a revo i dont race its just for playing round with.since i have run it in as the dvd shows i have got through so many glow plugs.is this a common thing as i have asked a couple of shops and both say different things which hasn't helped at all. :thumbsup: thanks for any help.

all depends on what kinda temps you are running, if you run it hot, after you shut it down, the plug gets heat soaked and melts, so it could be running fine, you shut it down and let it sit, go to start it back up again , and its gone !! if you use afterrun oil, you may be useing too much, it will also help blow a plug on start up !!

Thanks for that.i will have to find out at what temp it is running at.like i said this is all new to me so any info i get is much appreciated.thanks for taking the time to reply.if you have any other hints on how to get the best out of my truck please let me know.

ya need to get a temp gun, real hard to tune with out one !! all motors are differant, some you have to go by temps, and others, like every thunder tiger 21 i have had, they have a sweet spot, and no matter where you go, lean or rich, i alway end up back at the same sweet spot !!
