Hobbyshopper! ta_man 04-17-2006, 06:33 PM One thing you should check: Someone told me that the scales sold by hobbyshopper only read in grams, not ounces. Slider 04-17-2006, 06:59 PM These are 500 gram scales which is 17.6 o/z which is more than ample for pancar. I have 4 of them and love em. hankster 04-17-2006, 10:25 PM Yes, they only read in grams. They are 550 gram (19.4 oz.) scales - Readability - 0.1g (.0035 oz.). I also recommend getting a calibration weight. When the stock I have on hand is gone, I will no longer have them available. omnis85 04-17-2006, 10:31 PM One thing you should check: Someone told me that the scales sold by hobbyshopper only read in grams, not ounces. If you have a calculator in the pit box and would think everyone does, use the following to convert Grams to Ounces, multiply the grams by 0.04 Ounces to Grams, multiply the ounces by 28.35 I did that for the longest time with my scales, no bigee Robertw321 04-17-2006, 11:25 PM The four I just got from Hobbyshopper read in grams, ounces, pennnyweights (DWT) and troy ounces. hankster 04-18-2006, 03:08 PM Really?!?!?! Must be something new with the last batch I bought. Never looked at the instructions to see that they changed. Thanks for letting me know! Z-Main Loser 04-18-2006, 04:45 PM The four I just got from Hobbyshopper read in grams, ounces, pennnyweights (DWT) and troy ounces. I bought one a couple of weeks ago and it was the same way. I like the one I got so I went ahead and bought 3 more last week. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
