Personally I'd rather see them in 1/64th.

I would like to see them in 1/64th also. The 2+2 Fastback like the car in "BULLITT" would be awesome in 1/64!

JL already has the '68 GT in 1:64. Its an awful casting that needs to be redone badly, and its a fastback, but its a '68 GT. If you want a nice 1:64 scale '68 Mustang, try to find one of these Bullitt Mustangs:

I beleive this was done by Revell and its very nice.

I've gotten more into 1:18 myself lately. I have a 1968 Mustang GT Cobra Jet in 1:18 scale that was done by Ertl. It is red and I beleive it was a Hobby Store only issue. Its a fastback and I love the thing. Especially considering I paid about $23 for it. Ertl did a nice job with the proportions of this casting and, except for a few little missing details, its a beautiful piece:

These GL versions look pretty cool, but I'm kind of partial to fastbacks. I heard they are doing a California Special version, which would be really cool.

Thanks for sharing those photos Rob.

Absolutely beautiful car!

Personally I'd rather see them in 1/64th.

Playart did the '69 coupe in 1/64 in the late '60s, and JL and Yatming (among others) have done the '64-'66 coupe. It's high time someone brought us the '67-'68 Mustang coupe in 1/64!

I don't like the Bullitt Mustang because it looks like a plain jane fastback and not a GT fastback. The best looking 67-68 Mustang fastback I have is a 67 HW 100% one but that ain't saying a whole lot. I would almost like the JL casting if the vent window wasnt painted silver.
