Jonny Lightning American Glory '55 Chevy 2 door sedan
Kept paint on this one, dug the flame's an the colour, cut the engine compartment out to make room for the eng swap from a Fiat 500c, lift'd front end by puttin' the axle that I basically cut thru under the base to clear the pipe's, did sum detail paint, lost the 'ood, paint'd interior
This was spray'd an brush'd.
I'm debatin' puttin' it in a case, in which I would goo it to the base an goo the case shut. The one tyre bother's me a bit cuz it ain't to steady from bein' cut so much.
This is one 'o mine fav's 'o all I've done. It jus' look's damn mean, but don't seem to be to outraguos. Didn't do much to it though. I'm not sure what catagory this would fit into though.
I'm wonderin' if after it's all o'er if KK would let us know what each car pull'd in on it's auction.

Gotta love that gasser stance!!! I like it!!! :thumbsup: I was wondering if anyone would post pics of their entries for the contest. Whenever I get some more time to work on mine Ill have to get some pics posted. Maybe that will help encourage others to share theirs :dude:

I've post'd e'ery custom I've done, no matter 'ow crappy it was. :)
An after I've finish'd mine an post'd it, if sumone else does the same ting, then groovy, mine idea got us'd. It would jus' suck if sumone did what I was doin' an post'd first. :)

very nice job, to answer your questions

I'm not sure what catagory this would fit into ...
At this point, Fest organizers and I are trying to figure out how we are going to catagorize the cars, it actually may end up as one catagary with prizes being in different aspects of the custom. {i.e. Best paint, most extreme, best chop...ect...}

I'm wonderin' if after it's all o'er if KK would let us know what each car pull'd in on it's auction.
Absolutely, all will be photographed and the winning $$ amount and who bought them will be shared with everyone.

Keep in mind the custom which brings the highest $$$ will also win a prize...

KK,

The highest bidder doesn't always want people to know how much or what they bought. Maybe just post the high bid?

I just want to make sure that everyone knows, this is NOT the custom contest that has been in place at the fest. That custom contest is still happening. It has traditionally been for fest goers, who bring some work to enter.

This contest is different, it is a Charity Challenge, you donate your car to be auctioned off for charity.

Fest goers will choose best of from all of them. Such as "Best Paint" "Most Extreme" "Best Chop Job" ect... {I could use a few more catagories for voting.}

And the car which brings the highest dollar amount wins top honars, sort of best of show catagory.

For these reasons, I will not be having classes, such as Mild and Wild. But if enough people vote your casting, best wheel swap, {if I have that one} then you would win a trophy and Very Limited JL Casting.

I hope to get a lot of participation from you guys. Your getting your Props on the flyer too...
