The Midwest Triclone Crew is planning a Summer Brushless Race for JULY 21st-23rd. Track will be open Thursday and Friday for Practice and we will run a 1 minute qualifier to seat the Heats. This is going to be a 2 day event 3 Qualifiers on Sat. 1 Qualifier and the mains on Sunday. The track will be awesome this year with it being resealed!!

We are planning on making it 4300. Possibly have a 5800 IF there is enough to make it a legitimate class. We wont turn away any brushed racers either, but are promoting it as a Brushless race. I know there will probably be a Stock class, if theres enough interest we can run a 4 Cell Mod Class also Danny B? Monti? Koback? John F? Corey H? Hays Jr? Skomski? Jason H? Paul?

We are trying to make this economical for everyone to come out and have a good time. Working on some ways to cut down the hotel costs, there is also room for people to camp outside. Plenty of room for trailers, pitting area is covered by an overhang. (I dont beleive the building will be open for pitting tho) Parts and Food availble at the track, no need to go to Mc D's Dave J burgers are 2nd to none!! There will be lots of door prizes and a raffle.

Nothing is set in stone right now, so would love to hear eveyones thoughts.

Check out www.press-citizen.com for pics of the tornados that ravaged My TOWN last night! Some of the worst damage was only 2 blocks from my house! Anything that says Iowa Ave, Governor, washington st, college st. Is only one or two streets over from my house! My roommates Girlfriend is a member of the AXO soriety that was completely destroied by the F-2 Tornado. Only Minor injuries have been reported but we were without power for 9+ hours last night.

You can also put me down for 4-cell mod!

Trust me you won't be disappointed. This is probably the best cap track out there. The facility, people and racing are all 1st class!

I'm working on getting some Iowa guys pumped up for this race. I have never ran well there, but I still like the track and the people. Hope I can generate some interest.

Jimmy, it is an end bell kit and rotor for the motor. It has a larger bearing on one end, thats why it needs a new end bell.

You can run any speedo, 4300 for motor. For MOD we are thinking having open to any BL motors also. Any input from anyone? I'm sure there will lots of opinions!!!!!
Cars need to make 4 1/2" height on any part of the top. 42 oz weight. You can run any tires you want.

Ok, thanks. I just noticed on one race thread that they did not allow the GTB with the 4300 motor. I'm new to brushless and I have no idea what the difference is between the two.

You can run any speedo, 4300 for motor. For MOD we are thinking having open to any BL motors also. Any input from anyone? I'm sure there will lots of opinions!!!!!

Will the races be 4 mins so the brushed motors have a chance against the BL? Otherwise I say no, don't mix 'em up. I'm not even sure how a brushed mod compares to open BL?

Hey Big Guy, the stock and mod races will be 4 min. BL will be 5 min.
