Not new to the hobby but new to brushless (and lipo) and I'm working on a shopping list for parts to build out a T2 with, primarily for road course racing on asphalt with occasional trips to a nearby carpet track. Could really use some wisdom from those of you who have been into brushless for a while if you don't mind!
I'm trying not to spend a ton of money and I've used Novak hardware for years, so their systems have initially caught my eye. Even so however, I have a hard time guessing whether I'd really want a GTB and a 5.5 or a GTB and a 4.5, etc.
The road course I'd be racing on most of the time looks like this:

Plenty of twist and turns, but then there's that loooooong back straightaway on which to get passed (by anyone who has more top end). My gut reaction is to say get a 4.5, why not, more power right? But then I also start worrying about destroying lipos with too much draw. Anyone have some thoughts?
