He doesn't mention JL in his title:
"Aurora AFX Tuff One's/T-Jet Vintage Magnet Ho Parts Lot"
This statement when combined with other things he says, makes it sound like they will fit JL, but not necessarily are JL:
"Aurora AFX JL "Vintage" T-Jet/Tuff One's Chassis "Magnets" Ho Slot Cars Car Parts Lot of 6 Pairs <12pcs >"
And he is claiming that they are vintage.
"100% Brand New Condition Aurora AFX Vintage Magnets x 6 Pairs (12pcs.) For Replacement in Tuff One's or T-Jet Chassis. In My Opinion, These Are Best of The Best & Almost Out Of These ……. Any Questions At All Please e-mail Me Anytime! Nothing here is bent For Sure!"
I just don't know why anyone would buy from someone with a feedback rating of only 98.5%, especially with his feedback being kept private.

ive bought from this guy before, and knew what i was buying, and never had a problem. i dont know for sure, but i assume he is chinese, that english is his second language, and that he has some relationship with the factory making JL XTs and JLTOs.
i could be wrong, but i dont think he was being "sly" to intentionally mislead people. i think he just doesnt have excellent english skills. i sure as heck couldnt write an auction description in a second language.
i am also not sure what bidder would be interested in "Vintage" magnets yet not recognize these as JLTO magnets.
there is certainly a market for JLTO magnets. fray style racing uses JLTO magents in place of stock Tjet magnets or blue/yellow super II magnets, and i bet other Tjet rules allow them too.
other vendors (like JW) sell JLTO magents for $4/pair.
i just thought it was kinda of interesting how a single component of a relatively inexpensive chassis commands such a large percentage of the value of the chassis.

Yes it is. I was having a hard time getting $5 for a whole car.
I still can't understand why his feedback is private.

Maybe you have to be logged into e-Pay? I can get his feedback to come up.

BTW- I've read the negative stuff and it's either people bitching about only getting a body after the auction said just that or poor delivery times. Most replies to negative or nuetral comments by the seller appear pretty rude though. :o

I think english is his third-fourth language. I dealt with him too. shipped the wrong car once, wrong chassis once (both where white thunder cars and he sent regular car and regular chassis) and a lot of silicon tires came as hard as rocks.
Ann I give U special break on shipping..............35.00 was the special shipping deal for a padded envelope.
He did make good on the deals though, I just lost patience with his lack of English skills. (**note**I did leave the guy positive feedback. always give people a chance to clear things up)
