Damn, I don't know, but I have a few I can get rid of for half that price.

I think the guy was lucky just to get that first bid, although it's not a JL chassis...but still???

Maybe he stores them in that airtight container with some nitrogen.

Guys, those wheels on the car are also seen on the faller afx cars. Are those AFX wheels particular to only a certain car or two? They are on my Faller 512M.

Maybe the buyer was after the wheels then? Maybe the buyer has that car in a 1:1?

Check out the bidders. Two people relatively new to eBay(low #s) had a bidding war for this. This is something I try to avoid on eBay. I wouldn't even consider it for something that's relatively common. Maybe they really like Lime.

Thsoe are Hurricane Two Wheels, most often found on North American issue, Aurora produced 1957 Corvette Hard tops, Firebird Trans-ams and the Fall Guy pick-up truck.

As for the price...two guys realy had to have it, I guess......it is a first release push car color, but jeeeeezzzzz!

SCJ- I wondered where I got those wheels. I don't remember them on any car other than the Tuff Ones Camaro that they are on now.

Me thinks that I had those wheels on a Porsche Carrera with a Magna-Traction chassis.
At the time (the 70's) it was my fastest and best car...
