Any first hand experience with the new #2053 controller?

Sounds as if it could be really good.....

Hmmmm.

Interesting...
But why not make the controller work with either polarity?
Just wondering...

Wow I may have to try that one. I like the trim "pots" instead of the 8 small knobs. And the price seems decent with the adjustable brake.

After reading the history and technical inofrmation on the site, I'd have to guess that becasue of the transistor the Professor talks about in this new controller it cannot be used in dual polarity mode. Primamry negative leads are probably what goes through the transistor.

That one came out right when I was about to order a 2050 from them.I don't know,I can't get into the single polarity idea.
I KNOW that at some point, either me,or someone else would hook it up backwards and that would be the end of it.

So I bought the 2050.And it's AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Best 120 bucks I ever spent on slot car stuff.
