Hi everyone

The biggest race of the year on Granby's calendar is coming up

THE 3RD ANNUAL CAN-AM CHALLENGE

SATURDAY APRIL 15TH 2006

Classes:

KASCAR (4 cell stock, max 3800mah batteries, 1135 grams incl. transponder)
KASCAR 540 ( 4 cell Tamiya 540 motor, max battery mah to be verified, 1135 grams inc. transponder)
1/12 scale (4 cell stock, max 3800mah batteries)

All classes run with a minimu or 3mm clearance.

Note: there was an error on the weight rule for 1/12 scale on the flyers we handed out 3 weeks ago at the Jeff Sears Race. The minimum weight listed was last year's rule. If someone can post here what the weight is run at Plattsburgh and St-Rock we will run with that.

We do run personal transponders. Also this year, BROMONT TERRASSE AND ASPHALTE DE L'ESTRIE HAVE CONFIRMED THEIR PARTICIPATION AS SPONSORS FOR A 3RD TRAIGHT YEAR. Eric Bastille is waiting on confirmation from other partners.

More info to follow. Mark this one on your calendar!

Hi Midget. Will it be your final appearance in your ''farewell tour'' or you'll do a Mark Martin of yourself > a repeat tour?

I'll be there - in 540 class. My days in KASCAR are done; I'll look for some more spec-type class.

I'll put my focus on my all-new B4 and DIRT oval racing this summer.

More sponsors pitching in with door prizes! Trinity, Great planes and Horizon.

Steve and Eric Salvas have confirmed their presence this year again. This is looking to be a good one!

Thanks MP for the weight number for 1/12. That's the weight everybody will be running.

Dick. We're located on 1252 rue Principale, Canton de Granby, J2G 8C8. Take Exit 68 off Autoroute 10. Take rte 139 North until you hit 112, then take 112 West. Were on your left after the 2nd traffic light.

A big thanks for the Plattsburgh crew for showing support for the Can-Am once again. I can't say as much for the local crowd, but that didn't keep us from having a hell of a quality field!. Everybody was ready on time, and racing was clean. I enjoyed watching the race for the B win. That would have been an A main anywhere else!
