I see The Kodak, Harley and Kmart rigs on Bay all of the time. Why should it be different with the Dupont rig? Weren't most of these produced at the same time in equal numbers?

Thanks for your input and thoughts.

My Guess would be Jeff Gordon won the Daytona 500 and the winston cup championship and the Nascar fans have them sitting of shelfs. The other drivers were basicly also rans backin the day...lol

It so happens that the only Tyco rig I have is the Dupont one. Considering the way I got it, I wonder if it only came with the Jeff Gordon car as a set...

I bought a dinky little Tyco figure-8 set at a flea market for like $3. It was supposed to come with glow-in-the-dark Corvettes... the late '80s style, one with red stripes and one with blue. Well, I got home and opened the box... and in addition to the Corvettes there were a red Tyco Porsche 911, a pair of Labonte Brothers cars with the opened 2-pack--the Interstate Batteries and Kellogg's cars, a Jeff Gordon Dupont Monte Carlo, and the Dupont rig. No packaging for the Dupont vehicles, but I kinda wondered if the person who originally bought them was buying NASCAR 2-pack sets...

here's a pic... the Kodak and CAT cars were picked up later at a yard sale, and the Days of Thunder Hardees car was found at a Carlisle swap meet.

Great score. I would have to say that was a well spent $3.

Rick,
I beleive you are right. I've only seen it in the two for pack with the stocker version of Gordon's Dupont MC. rr
