O.K. I am working on doing some plaques (pyrography) and would like some opinions.

What are the most popular cartoons? Ones that would sell well (probably geared more towards women than men as they like these types of things).

I figure Disney is a given. And Peanuts.

What else? Opinions?

Pearls Before Swine is a hilarious strip. And they're easy to draw because even the cartoonist himself will tell you he has no talent.

Oh For Women- They Like "Cathy" I dunno who the Hell she is BUT she is this Girl with Many "Issues" my wife used to like that one AND there is "Cathy" Checkbooks and other Crap so I suppose she has a Following lol. I prefer my Comic Women to be Drawn by Frank Cho! or Will Eisner! lol Hell even Frank Frazetta lol

Just remembered a cartoon that women loved. It's that super baby in diapers who always has a sarcastic answer.....Marvin

Quite Simply Michigan J. Frog in "One Froggy Evening" IS THE BEST ANIMATED CARTOON EVER MADE!!"The Dot and the Line," Chuck Jones’ "High Note," and Mel Brooks’ "The Critic" aren't exactly chopped liver!

None of those have any special appeal to women, though. "Cathy" is definitely a chick strip. And maybe Mel Lazarus' "Momma."
