You need to call Jay at the shop to see when you can get on the track. Generally, people start showing up around 3 pm for practice. You could get out earlier if Jay has prepped the track. The hobby shop # is 860-354-4703. We should be racing EVERY Saturday, weather pending.

Hey Nick you might want to give Putnam a call. He's done all the hard work in the design dept. All you need to do is build it. Though I'm not sure what you guys are running, buggies or actual dirt oval cars. If it's the latter give him a call the car is awesome.

TP's car always look awsome sitting in the pit, but when he tries to wheel , it all goes down hill. Hope he doesn't visit this thread.

Dale how are things? I'll try to stop down one dry Saturday, with the family. say hi to the wife and all the pets, lol.

Mikey... my hero!!!
Things are good. Racing is going good. You know me, I made my own LTO chassis for the B4, scratchbuilt body, etc. Can't leave well enough alone. How's Junior? Got him started in 1/18th scale or something? Hope you stop down to the track sometime, even just to pick on my driving.

I know that several of the guys that race dirt oval at Xtreme visit this thread. So, I'd like to air a few things out. I've heard the chatter in the background that the reason I run pretty good is because my body is "too big" or "illegal". I've heard that people wonder if my chassis is legal or not. Well, there isn't any rules at Xtreme. Everyone who races at Xtreme builds their cars in the spirit of typical EDM rules, and that's worked well for years, even under prior ownership. Before anyone complains about my body should open their eyes and check out what everyone else in the country is running these days. Go to dirtoval.com, texasdirtoval.com, or floridadirtoval.com. See for yourselves. My body is smaller than most. My chassis is hand-cut from fiberglass and allows me to offset my battery. I lenghtened my wheelbase 5/8". Show me where this is illegal. Has anyone seen a terminator, leading edge, putnam, or custom works car ??? It would make mine look tame in comparrison. When other guys are trying to run Li-po batteries or 19turn motors, don't worry about my stuff. Maybe I run pretty good because I have worked real hard at it for 20 years. Like I recently did for Nick and Mitch, I WILL GLADLY BUILD ANYONE A COPY OF MY BODY FOR $15.00. Sorry to ramble on, I will have more to say this Saturday at the track.

I've only been up there a few times, but I have nopt heard this at all. All I ever hear is that Cote is tough to beat. I think most of the guys that race there enjoy the competition. I know I do.
