I Have A Savage. And Of Course I Stripped The Steering Servo In It Already. What Is A Good Durable Reliable Servo For A Monster Truck?
Thanks
Chris

Oh yes, stay away from Hitec. Of course I guess I would have said the same thing after buying my first Hitec servo (HS525) but giving them another chance I have had pretty good luck with the HS945 and HS81mg I have. Btw the 945 would be a good choice for the Savage. With that said however I have decided to try a JR servo my next go around. I hear good things about them. I have always run Futaba servos without any problems also. The problem with them (as well as Airtronics) is that you pay top $$$ for them too.

why does everyone say to stay away from Hitec?!?!?! i hear that ALLLLLL the time...whats wrong with their servo's? i run Hitec Radio gear in my Oval car, and its worked FLAWLESS, not one glitch on the FM system, before i switched over to the spektrum

I've owned four hitec's the only complaint I've had is they haven't centered as well as my Airtronics and Futaba servo's. Of those four servos only one centered well. Their service however was great if you break them under warranty. Futaba is like pulling teeth with needle nose pliers. If you are going to bash, IMO the hitec are good choice for the money.
