Hello all, my 1st post on this board!! Just was wondering how many of you have pre-ordered the 5th Flames Series Car, made by GreenLight, the Mustang and how many ordered the RARE GREEN MACHINE Variation for $50.00. The ONLY thing that I do not like is that they copied JL on the Traits-- GREEN Rims/Base--Any thoughts??? Thanks

Welcome to Hobby Talk.

I haven't purchased any Greenlight cars so I can't compare.
Happy Hunting!

Welcome to the board
Imitation is the best form of flattery. Had GL did their chase cars in white characteristics then it might have raised an eyebrow. The green color characteristics are kind of cool and a nice play on their name. Now I just have to find one.

I believe someone once said the previous owner of PM {Tom Lowe} and the owner of Green Light, are friends, buddy's, or something. I do know that at one time PM sold some 1/24 scale diecast cars that were actually made by Greenlight. {example: 1998 corvette pace car}

The car was branded JL and on the bottom in small lettering it said, Mfg by Greenlight.

Any how the two componies PM and GL have a history, and the owners have a History. Don't know exactly how far it goes.

There were only 30 Green Machine Flames Mustangs offered for sale at
Milezone. I ordered the set of both versions. I think the Green Machine will
look sweet with green chrome rims . I don't much care about a green base, or a white base for that matter. Greenlight and RC2 both make quality die cast cars. The more the merrier. :hat:
