sellers got some nice stuff, but shipping on ONE slot car ought to be less than $5.
priority mail is $4.05, and first class would be less than $3, including the cost of a box from a sports card store.

I wouldn't consider bidding on an auction where the seller only has 98.7% positive feedback either. My feeling is that for every negative a seller gets he should probably have two more. Most people do not leave negatives.

I don't bother with auctions when they charge an absurd amount for shipping.
However, it is a pretty nice looking Riviera.

Probably explains lack of interest on what appears to be a car in good condition. Current bid is less then what you would pay for a current production model motoring

I believe that shipping charge includes a pizza.

It's a nice looking car. So the real price is your winning bid plus 10 bucks. Plain as day and clearly stated up front. It's fairly easy math that can be figured out in advance of your bid. If you can't figure it out I'll sell you a $15.00 Casio calculator, not including the $9.95 shipping and handling fee, which is extra.

When charging that $10 shipping and handling fee, that means the that final value of the auction for epay is also potentially $10 dollars less meaning the seller gets a bit o discount on the Final Value auction fee. Meaning that instead of paying a percentage of $40 dollars, he is only paying a percentage on $30 dollars
I have been seeing this more and more lately.
