stock. would like to run brushless, but i cant afford it and it is faster so i dont want want to p1ss people off by crashing into them.

I tried mod about 5 yrs ago. it was to expensive. not in motors batteries and tires but in axles and A-arms because i didn't know what I was doing ! LOL

Planning on 4300..... I dont think there'll be much of a 19t class..... maybe a 5800 if theres enough?

Id like to, a few times at least. Wont be for a while, we are 1 income less now... wife is on bed rest, and unpaid leave until the end of the pregnancy... so double time on bills for me! Outstanding.

Id like to be out a week or two before the "pan car champs" and maybe make that race.

Personally, if I do run, it might be stock or 19t... as id like to hold off on the Brushless system till carpet season starts and possibly the Tekin ESC is out. That way I can use up the $$$ I spent in buying 19t motors!

But if enough want to, Ill play with Mod... at least until I run out of parts!

Same here, well as far as waiting for the Tekin BL system. I'll for sure run 19T if there is enough!

This year will only be saturdays for me.. seeing i work 4pm to 2 am, ill miss every single tuesday.. Hopefully the weather wi let me run every saturday tho...

Well, we got alot done at the track on Sunday, most of the cracks are filled in , Dave H was fixing the wall off turn 3( where Bob Bendixon like to hit it!!!LOL) we are going to build new steps for the drivers stand. Make it so the tarps on the sides of the pits stay up in the wind and rain but will come down when not needed. From what Dave J said that the guys coming to reseal thetrack will be there at the end of the month or first thing in May. I hope that it is sooner, I will need all the track time that I can get!!!!!LOL :wave:

Does someone have the address for the race track? It's been so long since I have been there I don't think I can find it. Not sure yet but may try and make it out there May 19 & 20

Id like to take a minute and thank everyone i have raced with over the last 15 years or so.. Ive decided at least for now to hang up my transmitter.. Certain things as of late have taken the fun out of this HOBBY for me..
Remeber everyone this is just a hobby.. dont worry about what anyone else does, do your own thing and try to have fun..

wing to the pod for sure. I've been runnnig a mote carlo there but i don't remeber how much down force

For brushless I would run the Protoform HD monte Carlo with the large BRP wing. I beleive corey also has the stock track record with the HD monte carlo. Lots of guys have had good luck with the McAllister Intrepid or MD Protoform Intrepid.

Tires:
LF - L blue prolite
RF - S blue net
LR - L green prolite (narrow)
RR - R blue net (wide)

Run the wing on the pod

Your choice, either the HD montecarlo or MD dodge will work for stock. I think most use HD montecarlo in BL & 19T

For front springs most people run a green RF and a red LF. For dampening on the kingpins use Zubacks. The stock record was on a HD Monte. I have also ran well with 3 pinks and a blue RF. Most do run the 3 blues and a green.

Thanks for the input, Hays incoming order for caps in route. Cory the car doesn't need to be as sprung as it was for Classic right? Banked but not enough to really compress the chassis too much right?

Most people run a soft center spring (green or silver Assoc.) with a lot of preload.

do them trinity tire warmers work for warming up the caps OR is a hair drier the best way to go ?
