Just got the savage x and its pretty fast!!! what does everyone else think? what should i upgrade? what tires and wheels should i get for racing on clay? thanks :dude:

its in r/c car action this month, sounds like you get some nubs tires and do the diff fliuds and you are set !!

prob not on a truggie, may hurt your turning real bad, just go with the maxx size, and you may want to get the crimefighters, thats what im getting for my msr mbx5 today, want to see how the fighters and bow ties compare, the fighters should be better, was always the best buggy tire here !!

Thats right i remember hearing that the extra sidewall on the maxx size tire is better. That way there isn't so much pressure on the wheel. probably gets better traction too.

Get the HPI Nubz tires, they bolt right on and have awesome traction and wear everywhere I have tried them.

4925 = 1 pr. Nubz with white wheels.
4926 = 1 pr. Nubz with black wheels.
4928 = 1 pr. Nubz with yellow wheels.

i have the nubz and tried them on my x and way too much traction.
