I'll take that as a "no."
It sure wasn't as good as I remembered it.

I second that JP.

I always had these fond memories of how much I looooved that show. There were still some gems, but watching them now is not quite the same. Padding, padding, padding and endless dialogue.

Some of them in later seasons WERE very good. "Pickman's Model" was a standout. That vampire story with Lesley-Ann Warren, directed by Nimoy, was eerie and atmospheric.

But the show descended into camp eventually.

The story with the earwigs still gives me creeps. Maybe it's better that I don't see it again so I don't destroy my memory of it.

...something about that earwigs episode... it's always mentioned as soon as talk of Night Gallery comes up!

FWIW, I don't know about anyone else, but that earwig episode (and the mermaid episode) left a huge - like, I couldn't sleep for a week - impression on me.

I love "Night Gqllery" - "Green Fingers". "Brenda", "The Phantom Farmhouse", "Silent Snow, Secret Snow", "Messiah on Mott Street", "The Doll", "Cool Air", "and many many more very well loved..........at least as good if not better than many of the things spoken of glowingly on these boards..................

Mark me down as a big fan of the doll and earwig episodes. Love those "gotcha'" endings!
