On my traxxas stampede (old version) i am having a transmission problem. I have already replace an idler gear and a diff gear holder. It is getting real bad acceleration and when you hold the truck on the ground the gears spin but it dosn't move. Already have a new slipper shaft and the gear that attaches to it on order. Any guesses on what is going wrong?

Sounds to me as though you need to either tighten down your slipper clutch more or get new pegs for the slipper.
BTW unless you have upgraded to the "pro" diff (ball) in your Stampede they come stock with a gear diff so that won't be it.

I had told you before in the last post about this that you need to check the white output yokes on the transmission and make sure the screw is not spinning inside the yoke. If it is, then the white yoke is bad, you can upgrade to the steel ones to avoid theis problem further, The top slipper on a stampeded would have to be way too loose for that too happen and like the guy above me said they dont have a ball diff so dont listin to tamiya kid tao4, His evader may but not your traxxas unless you spent the 40.00 bucks and bought one from traxxas.

I already replaced the slipper pegs about two days ago so it's not that. Also the yokes are brand new too.

Why don't you try this (which is how I tell if my slipper is too loose):
Hold the truck on the grouns with the slipper cover off. Then turn the spur gear using your fingers. It should be hard, but not impossible to turn. WEhile turing it, look to see what is slipping. If the slipper pegs are too loose, the nut on the end of the slipper shaft won't be moving. If the nut moved with the gear, look to see if the trans output yokes are moving or if the screw inside the yoke is turning. That will give you some idea where the slippage is occuring.
