I don't know anything about "Monsterama", but I had the pleasure of meeting Dan Roebuck in October 2005 on the second-to-last day of business for the Movieland Wax Museum in Buena Park, California. Yes, it was only a 10 minute "Hi, nice to meet you" kind of conversation, but he truly seems unaffected by his "stardom" and was very kind whenever someone in the crowd recognized him.

Anyway, according to his website, http://www.danielroebuck.com/, he has a tremendous collection of horror and sci-fi film memorabilia. I didn't see anything on his site about Monsterama, but there is an e-mail link; perhaps a quick e-mail to get the information straight from the source?

Dan is one of the true nice guys out there.

While attending the Famous Monsters Convention back in the 90's, I was seated at a banquet table with him. I complimented him on his Universal monsters necktie. He asked if I wanted one and I was expecting to write down an address or phone number of someone selling them.

He took down my home address and said he'd send me one. Of course, I was thinking "yeah, right." About a week later, my Universal monsters tie arrived at my house with a nice note.

I've seen him a couple more times while visiting Hollywood and he always remembers me with a handshake and a smile.

Yep, Dan's a peach. He's been a friend for almost ten years, and he does have a hell of a collection.

Well look on www.imdb.com

It says he has directed movies such as Aurora Model kits, Planet of the apes collectibles and many other toy and Universal horror movies.
