2nd Annual "Spring Shootout" trophy race at R/C Wolrd & Raceway, 345B East Orvis street, Massena NY ph.(315) 764 0666

this will be the second year for this event, last year we had 72 racers attend this event.

we been recieving door prizes from companies in the r/c industry who's pruducts we use. no one went home empty handed last year.

Trophies for A,B,C,D mains in Nascar, Sportsman, A,B mains in 1/12, A main 19 turn

Nascar - 4cell batteries 3800 max, any roar legal stock motor
Sportsman - 4cell 3300 max, trinity handout motors only
1/12 scale - 4cell 3800 max, any roar legal stock motor

Note... we do not allow the wintergreen odor tire tractions, currently there is a short supply of racers choice for some reason, we will have Niftec, Trinity & Corally in stock.

Is the track going to be open for practice on Saturday?

yes it will :thumbsup:

track/hobbyshop is open all week 10am to 9pm. come in and practice anytime, 5 bucks for the whole day if you need. :thumbsup:

we also have a vinyl cutter and can have decals made, please pm me if you need something. this thread is for the race only!

eric, there will be a 19 turn class if we get enough racers for that class... four or more will do the trick.

I'm in for Sportsman and 19turn. Is Sportsman running truck bodies or car bodies ??

A few of us from K&N were thinking of coming. I just checked the site and couldnt find a lot of track info; such as how big the track is.... someone fill me in. I think Ive got Chad interested in going; just gotta seal the deal LOL

massena is located 1 hour east of plattsburgh... three hours north of syracuse.

yep... we are "up there"

Im not sure that we can make this weekend (sadly) - We are trying to find someone to cover the track and watch the 6year old as its a 4 hour trip for us..but its not looking good. If we cant make it you have our word we will be up there for another event.

Its hard with me being all prego and all (LOL).... Also Check your PM - we picked our Spring Sizzler date, we'd love to have you down if that works for you all. Let me know if your want more info; directions; hotel stuff; whatever....

the walls have been replaced for the big race, we did away with the plastic... it would turn a car around if you rubbed it. we put up some new material that is rub friendly.

Awsome junior, we all know who love to hit that back stretch wall and end up facing the wrong direction :). Sorry I wasn't over to help or practice woke up this morning and couldn't talk. I can talk a little now but throat is really soar, getting some R&R like I said before to make sure I am good for the weekend see you guys Sat. for practice.

two days away should be a great group of drivers on hand to race bristol of RC any predictions on some winners???

the bissonette's, they will definatly be guy's to whatch for to be in the top three

plattsburgh's kenny roberts is on a roll, he was like lightening at the JeffSearsMemorial race.

mitch jock will be defending his home turf and we all know he is fast!!

tommygun, leroy n clayton smith are good on short tracks!!! heck they are good on any track come to think of it!!!

in the sportsman i'll be looking for johnny, brent and the barre guy's... they get there homework done... dash said he would spank the sportsman field but he has to help run the show... i think his nerves can't handle the pressure :D

but this past season has been showing us that anybody can take home the gold... everyone up here in the north is fast, good tracks good fellowship and guy's doing their homwork make it an awsome area for speed!

I'd say mitch is definitly one to watch due to it being home turf, Dick Jarvis was fast the weekend he came to so I would watch out for him.

Tommygun is here... says the track is fast n smooth! he said for me to get on here and tell the guy's who were thinking about coming to not think... just get here fast!!!

so i'm taking it that he likes the place... we love it... we call it bristol because you can do 100 laps in five minutes!!!


rick and norm are here from barre.... they agree :thumbsup: nice track.


i'm glad these guy's like it we put alot of time, money and effort into it and it shows.

the racerz are starting to pour in here... from p-burgh, barre, glensfalls, oswego, & watertown

first of all... i got to thank everyone for supporting our track and coming to our 2nd annual spring shootout!!!

much better for smoothness and quickness this time around... i was told... last year was our first time having a trophy race and this year it went better.

congrats to kenny roberts on his a main nascar victory!!! he is the man to beat in the northcountry lately!!!

What a day of racing. I had a great time at the new track. I will have to make another trip up. To bad mitch didn't make it, I want to see his 106 lap car. But it's ok now cause I saw mine.
