But dang well should have been.
This project started almost one year ago, less 10 days, to this day. It was inspired when I got my first Testors Decal Kit. Let me back up here a second. "Miller Beer" with the red label was probably the best beer I'd ever drank and deffinately the best beer Miller ever made. Trust me on this I've had experience. Like most things I like they are discontinued. I always thought the Miller Red Label Beer colors would have made a dynamite looking NASCAR. That was the first car I made a set of decals for. And I still think it looks good after one year.
My next favorite beer was "Red Wolf." Again some blinkin' marketer must have found out I liked it cause....They discontinued it. this is the car that took soooo long to get done. I just could not get the numbers to come out right for the right side. The flames had to be swapped on the 5's to make them look right. Be it from dislexia lack of red beer or what; for the first two printings I just could not get this from my brain to my fingers to the paper. When I finally did they were missized. It took five printings to get one to come out right. This one is more or less my personal NASCAR ride. Its a Chevy. It'll have a Kendall Motor Oil logo on it when I get my next decal sheet made. And ClearHooter's band logo is on the back. I've still got a Monte Carlo decal and Bow Tie to add to this one. I wanted something on the front that would make "Smoke" Stewart wet his pants when he saw those eyes in his rearview. Evil....
The last of the series of "Red Beer Cars" was the "Red Dog" My least favorite of the reds. But its is the last survivor of them. And what I have left to drink when I drink beer. I polished this one out the other day as more or less a demostration for DUDE 502 :dude: Now there is an odd one. But in a good, funny way. Anywho, these decals have been made for some time. But it took DUDE's inqusitiveness to get me to finish this one. Though I've still got a Taurus emblem and a FORD logo to go on it. I think they all came out well and make a nice set. I'm glad to get them finally done. Hope y'all like 'em.
