Well one guy said he has the conversions for $230.....makes me wonder? Would have been nice to see them some with all the slugs for the front end also.
ovalmaster 03-16-2006, 02:14 AM VWAL, I believe that all the slugs for the front end are included. This car is awsome. Definately worth the wait!

Team KSG
I guess I don't see why not include them in with the kits and conversions. Save a little on packaging them all and get them to the racers for a little less also. So I am up to $270 now for a conversion!!!
Well I went back and looked at the other thread, KSG 2006, and saw that the guy advertising the conversions for sale changed the price to 234.99!!! So is that suggested retail on the conversion?? If so I hope to see them for A LOT less somewhere else!!! Anyone else have these?
haysreeling 03-16-2006, 12:15 PM That is just the retail price, I'm guessing they would sell for around $160-170 most likely. Just think, when was the last time you paid 599 for a kit lol.
We will be getting them in stock next week.
Hays
Kenwood 03-16-2006, 12:25 PM Yeah thats suggested retail... LOL...Look at KSG website..The old car had similar price.. Look at the Hyperdrive Pro3 box.. Same deal... No need to get all worked up... ;)
MURDOCKRC 03-16-2006, 12:40 PM Just got off the phone verifying pricing and it looks like I will have them for sale at $160.00 for the conversion. They should be in stock the first of the week. MURDOCKRC@AOL.COM
Full kits $330

You need to ck on that "one guy's" price. He simply made a mistake in posting and corrected it when he saw the comments from other people. Which I appreciate it being brought to my attention. All mine have been sold at $170.00
Thanks

My bad. I saw yesterday that you changed your price from 230 to 234.95 and said you would honor the 230 price to those who have already bought them...that is a little different that 170. I am glad to see that the price is more in line with what I would have expected to see.
Mobius 03-18-2006, 02:16 PM Question? Can I buy the conversion kit and use an L4O for the parts? Thanks
rhodopsine 03-18-2006, 03:12 PM Mobius,
You would be missing quite a few parts... You would need the aluminium cross brace, the side shocks mounts, the center shock mount, the servo mounts, the bumper, the pod bottom plate and both pod bulkheads.
You could salvage from your L4 the whole front suspension, your rear axle, hubs, bearings and all three shocks.
If you also take into account all the miscelaneous hardware (screws and nuts) that you would also need, I'm pretty sure you'd be better off selling your L4 and buy a brand new kit.

Mobius 03-18-2006, 04:26 PM Thats what I needed to know, thanks. I'll wait for the kit.
Jim Rufiange 03-22-2006, 11:05 AM XGen 2 conversions are in stock and shipping! Email for price.
rcgray76 03-22-2006, 08:18 PM Can someone give me a baseline setup for a high banked carpet oval, 180' centerline for the KSG Xtreme GEN 2? Thanks, Randy
Fireball929 03-24-2006, 12:17 AM Looked at the new conversion kit tonight. Looks good but only the 0 degree slugs come with it. That means another $120 just for the rest of the slugs to have a complete set. That sucks. What's up with the extra t plate and top plate also?
Thanks,
Fireball

Hopefully you are not talkng about the rear slugs for $120..........
speedracer 03-24-2006, 08:26 AM The T plate and top plates are for off setting the pod one top plate is to off set to the right and one to off set to the left and you already have the top plate for on center if you have a KSG.
Fireball929 03-24-2006, 11:06 AM latemodel that is for the front slugs

KSGMotorsports 06-13-2006, 05:02 PM We are sorry for the delay but the complete cars are now shipping. The first batch was shipped to MSA yesterday with more to ship next week. ERI and ABC Hobbysports will also be getting some in the next few days. So get you hobby shops to order them from one of the above.
The kits come with #0 locators for the front and also the items needed to offset the pod to the left. Optional front locators are available in .050 increments. The #1's are a .050 offset and the #2's are .100 offset. To offset the pod to the right you only need to purchase the right top plate. Also no servo mount drilling is required. The chassis has slots for the servo mount screws.
Attached are some pics of the complete car. The new website will have more pics and info on it in the next few days. Also keep checking in as we have a couple of new products that will be release in the near future.
