so my .15 in my stampede finally bit the big one,well it didnt die but the compresson is low and i dont want to rebuild it, I am just going to get a new engine. what do you guys reccomend? I kind of want to stay away from traxxas engines. I was thinking possibly the associated .15, but i dont know. what do you guys think?

trx 2.5 was a great engine for me, i had a maxx since 2003, ran the hell out of it and was lax on the maintenance and it still runs like a champ. traxxas has the engine replacment plan, if you send your old motor in you can get half off on a new one, so it might save you some dough, hell you could even get the new 3.3 but i doubt the stampede's tranny and drivetrain would handle it.

go to http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitro/erp/trx_erp.htm and with some money they will send you a 2.5 or 3.3 or your old .15. All you hafto do is give them your old engine. That is what i did now in one my first race
