Maisto 1:38th scale pull back an go 1953 Corvette. Found this at Wallfart for $1.97. There was a few diff one's there, jus' grabb'd one to see 'ow it work's out. Two screw's hold it all together, the trim an windsheild etc are jus' there with a plastic nub melt'd o'er the back side, ExAcTo knife skimm'd that right off. This was spray'd an brush'd. It 'ad to be paint'd twice though, first time it 'ad an accident. I 'ad jus' put on the final coat, 'ad it off to the side to dry an doin' another car, lost mine mind an start'd sprayin' red paint on it...
This is mine first car bigger than a 1:64th, I like the amount 'o detail that the bigger car's have an it's cheap. I didn't wanna drop like $20.00 to TRY out on a bigger car. ;) I shot a bit 'o clear coat on this one as well. The pic's seem to show the screw up's that I don't see untill the pic's are taken. Either mine eye sight suck's poo or the dark colour's hide them well untill the flash an cam find's them. I'll be pickin' up more 'o these scale an seein' what I can screw up on them.
I do 'ave an announcement to make though...
I'm Dude an I'm a customizin' addict.
I see car's on the peg an I'm lookin' at 'em an wonderin' what can be done to it, I see car's on the road an picture real rider tyre's or red line's on 'em, I'm e'en startin' to dream custom's. :freak: Now if I could jus' get the custom's I do to look better. :dude:

DUDE: Yep! The pics do bring out the flaws. Infact I've started using them to see the bad places in the primer & filler before I lay on the final coats. Its even more dramatic in 1/64. You can see things you can't really even see with a magnifier in room light. Go figure.

Oh! Hi Dude  ...We're all "custom addicts" here. But unlike "AA" or "GA" we encourage the addiction. :dude:
