mopar_man 03-12-2006, 09:56 PM Wow. That's pretty bitchin'. I like it.
RacerJoe 03-12-2006, 10:14 PM Dude, That paint is so DEEP that its Awesome! Super Duper Great work- Wow! freaking Nice design in it to
t3cochise 03-12-2006, 11:45 PM Thanks guys. This one has lots of clear on it. Keep getting dust in it. It's been wet sanded about 6 times and has probably 7 coats of clear on it. Took a chance and cleared it on a rainy day and no dust. Guess the wet kept the dust stuck to the garage floor.

That it does. I've seen some guys paint stuff in their garages (cars, parts, etc.) by spraying down the floor with a garden hose. Poor man's paintbooth :D

I ususally give the cars a light wetsand between coats of clear. I haven't had one yet that didn't have some sort of dust in it. I use foam pads from 3M that come in different grits. I use mostly the super and ultra fine pads. I get them from the local auto paint store. They are about 5 x 7 and I cut them into small pieces to do the 1:64 scale stuff. I will post a link if I can find one for you.
Dan
Found them. At least a pic of what they look like. They come in all different grits. Super and Ultra fine are what I have been using.
