hi, had a question about the strand, do they have a touring car class and what are the rules , also what foams should i run, just a guesstamite of compound? also are there any people running this class if any?

Yes we have a Touring Oval Class not road course...we have a couple classes involving TC..currently the most popular is Spec Touring Oval... Trinity 1600 Spec pack and any Roar approved Stock motor... Purples greens and blues for foam tires seem to be the ticket... Blaine St. McAdoo,PA 18237 (570)929-1132 bradwray@ptd.net Hours of Operation Sundays 9AM to 5PM http://www.strandrcracing.com/ cjfasnacht 03-12-2006, 12:34 AM yes, there is a touring oval class. a few others and myself run this class. right now, we run any roar approved stock motor, 6 cell spec packs. hopefully next year we'll switch over to bigger batteries but it's pretty much a majority rules kind of thing. if you or any of your friends do decide to come up and run and you wanna run big batteries, post on the strand forum and say so, i'd be more than happy to run bigger batteries with ya's. the weight you have to meet is 50 ounces (with spec packs). as far as tires, i'm still trying new set-ups. it's ozite carpet so if you're set-up for another ozite track, you should be close. hope that helps. tamiya_kid_ta04 03-12-2006, 05:13 PM yea because i run gp 3300s, got mainly because they were 24.00 ar radio shack and couldent resist, benn holding chrge well got em in early dec.. good so far. also how would i do in tht tc class with a p2k pro?
