hello
over the winter i rebuilt my savage 25 motor, when i was going to take the piston and sleeve out i couldnt get the sleeve to come out. i ended up breaking stuff and it cost more then it should have to make a long story short. has any one had this problem or herd of this? if so how can i fix it so i know for next time, I have herd or i think i read somewhere that heating the moter will release the sleeve. anyway any info would be great. thanks in advance. you can use a small plastic zip tie, the square end, put the piston all the way down, and put the zip end in one of the ports, then turn the crank, the pistion comming up will also force the sleeve out. or worse case, a heat gun or hair dryer and the zip tie will work too.
