Bachmann Howmet turbine. Not too sure of it's value........I got a couple of Bachmanns: A green Howmet, like yours........and a yellow/white Charger. They are cool and run pretty nicely. Problem is finding replacement parts.

I have a white Howmet, a red Toyota 2000 GT, a gold Corvette, and a blue Corvette. I set the Toyota up to run on my layout, which is old Atlas track. These have long metal guide pins that can't be changed, so I filed one down juuuust a little bit so it wouldn't bottom out on my track, and then I put a set of Weird Jack's Lionel HO tires on the back... I think they slip a little on the rim, but the car goes like a bat out of h3!! anyway. And it stops on a dime... instant stop even without the brake wire hooked up. Yep, they run good...

Oh, I've seen nice ones go for 25 bucks or so on Fleabay, I think the Charger may go higher...

These were around in the 1960's. I have one which was supposed to be a James Bond car. They sold them to go with their train sets. They didn't sell as well as the T-jets and only a few hobby shops carried them.
