I'm looking for a 2wd buggy to race at my track. We don't have any other buggies right now so ill be running with the sts. Most of those are T3 evaders rustlers or xxxt. parts are readily available for virtually any major brand. I would like something inexpensive yet performance minded. I like the evader pro and the b4 most but a kyosho or losi would work too. any suggestions. the competition isn't overly skilled most are hobbyists and younger people no real experts.

I just got back into 2WD buggy, and I went with the Losi BK1. I have been running Stock Truck for the last two years, with a little 12th scale too. I thought that the buggy was easy to drive, most of my bobbles was mine own doing. Once I got the feel for the car, I could feel myself getting a little faster. They do take some getting use to.

Here is something to think about, last weekend when I went to the track, I was the only Losi in any of my heats or main. All AE. Maybe they know something that I don't.

Hope this helps,
Jerry

You can't go wrong with either....Losi XXX or Associated B4. They are both excellent cars. I have raced both, and on any given day, either can win.

With that said, my personal preference is Losi. Why? I can probably run a single faster lap with the B4, but from a consistency standpoint, I am faster with the Losi for the whole 5 minutes.

Both cars are awesome. Don't let anyone tell you different. Pick the one you like better & that you can get parts for locally. You will be happy either way!

Have Fun!

Check in the swap and sell section. There are tons for sale at a great price.
I would stay away from a Traxxas. VERY entry level.
Go with the Associated or Losi if you can. I is able to grow with your skill level for a LONG time.

All the years I ran Losi buggies they are a great car. Recently purchased a new buggy "the B4" and I must say Ilike it very much. Try to stick with the top 2 brands :freak:

I've seen the kyosho and it looks pretty sweet. Also from the grape vine a heard a former team losi driver was coming out with his own.

I've owned both, and i found the Losi more comfortable to me, and also i can build Losi shocks in my sleep compared to AE shocks. B4 is still an excellent car nothing wrong with it.
