I love his designs. He pulled GA out of the kitbashed era into unique but realistic designs.

Very true!
But he did bash a lot of kits (and toilet plungers, and knitting needles...) as well.
There are some humorous stories about it in the book.

Ooops - read the blurb about San Diego Comic-Con...

I wish!
I had hoped to have a color proof to show at Wonderfest, but the publisher had a death in the family last week and it might be tough to get it printed out and shipped in time for the show...

This book is fantastic, I can't beleive no one has been talking it up since its release. I have one for my greedy self and ordering one for my artist/animator friend for Christmas. Anthony, great work! for a GA fan it is highly valued.

Thanks for the glowing review, Daikaiju! Glad you enjoyed it.
Now please write a review for Amazon.com! It helps sales to have reviews, and so far I got nada.
By the way, we've gotten Mike Trim to sign labels we're inserting in a limited number of softback copies available exclusively from FAB Gear - link in my signature if anyone's interested.

Here's a link to an audio MP3 file of a radio interview I did about the book a couple of weeks ago:

Yes, you can make fun of me for mispronouncing the word "Mysterons."

Hey everyone - I received my book... It is well DONE!!! There were things that I knew about... And a lot of info that I had no idea. This book is well worth it.

As a fan of both Gerry Anderson and Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds, I can't recommend this book highly enough. Grab a copy for your Special Effects and Conceptual Art bookshelf.

Thanks, Rattrap and Gerry-Lynn!
How about posting a review on Amazon.com for me?
There's an article on Mike and the the toys and model kits made from his Anderson designs in the current issue of Toy Shop Magazine now available. It's the Pop Culture issue with (among other items) the Lost in Space Robot on the cover.
