View Full Version : John Deere 1/64 Premiere 'Muddy Tractors'
Uncle_emo 03-08-2006, 11:12 PM Hello,
I recently found a couple of the ERTL Die Cast 1/64 Premiere John Deere 'Muddy Tractor' chase pieces. I would like to trade these for Johnny Lightning, Hot Wheels, etc. items. I don't recall ever seeing any one offering these John Deere pieces for trade on the diecast trade boards. Could anyone point me towards a site where I could trade these? Any help would be appreciated. Please E-Mail me at <4moore@nexband.com>.
Thanks and take care...Eddie

mopar_man 03-12-2006, 08:31 PM I've seen them on Ebay. They bring some higher money ($26-$60) than what you probably paid for them. Kinda neat but too rich for my blood and I can't find any locally.
G-man 03-16-2006, 01:30 AM I'm with Mac's... Do you have any pictures? Are these tractors made to look used? Are these vintage tractors or newer ones. I may be interested if they are older.
I collect 1/64 tractors, but only older ones. I especially like the Early Farmall models and John Deere 2 cylinder models. JD Lettered Series (A-M), and the JD Numbered series (50, 620, 730 etc.) similar to this:

They're new models made to look dirty, as if they've been out in a field.

G-man 03-17-2006, 01:13 AM I guess it looks like they're only doing this on the newer tractors. :( nice effect though. thanks for the pics.

craftymore 04-07-2006, 08:38 AM My local WMs have a bunch of the regular versions of those same tractors. They seem to me to be overpriced in my opinion.

I thought the same but they're kind of the TH/WL of these tractors.
Macs_Little_Car 04-07-2006, 07:17 PM They are pretty detailed little tractors though. And the big 4 wheel dricve with duals articulating tractors weigh a pound by themselves

Sprinter 05-03-2006, 08:45 PM When Ertle first bought Johnny Lightning some folks made mock-ups of a white lightning tractor.Heres a nice chase, that seems to bring bigger value then some whites and is alot rarer to find. For 7.00 dollars they are nice pieces.
