Very cool. No quadralam however.

Kind of makes you wonder where the HO slot car world would be today if someone didn't get the bright idea to mix slot cars with potholder magnets. Ah, the allure of brass and gravity.

Ed's cars are cool, but I suspect the direct drive and slide glide makes them all but unusable on regular home tracks.

I see the Riggens are now being redone with some excellent bodies and newer technology like silisponge tires (http://www.riggenho.com/) and better gear selection. They were always a blast to drive, but I'm still thinking that we need a smaller can motor, one that's about one half to two thirds the size of the HT50. We would also need a way to avoid those foil style pickups that can wear out in a matter of minutes on home tracks. Plus, I want to be able to mount hardbodies. Sounds like I'm asking for a lot. I'll let someone else request a cure for world hunger and a plug for the hole in our ozone layer.
