Nick,
What is the time frame for practice and all that stuff for 3-18, & 19? I know that the track is closed for the wedding reception on 3-17. I think I heard Danielle or Chad say something about "early" morning saturday opening etc.

The race is on the 19th, the track will be open at 7am i think he said.

Race 3 will have a rules amend to allow open 19T and chrome stock

as it is a handout race for stock, and also the 3rd race in the Maximus

points series. As to not interfere with that, house rules for the day will be in affect.

This is complete my fault as i did not check on the race format before

the NEOT series was formed.

Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope this all works out.

Nick

I figured that, I was more wondering about the day before. Would be nice to set up and practice all day.

Yes, Chad or Danielle had previously posted the track will be open for extended hours on the 18th to compensate for the closure of the 17th. Rickster, your there all the time, you should be dialed. I know, the more track time the better, just bustin ya, see ya this weekend sometime.

I sure did post that! LOL

We have the website (www.knrcspeedway.com) pretty much up to date. You can always check there for our schedule, times open, NEWS, etc.

But for the record On Saturday March 18th we will open at 8am to make up for not being open on Friday March 17th.

We will also open early on Sunday March 19th for the NEOT (I believe its 7am- check the site Im pregnant which allows for me to forget things like this.....LOL).

As always if people want to just leave their stuff over the night before thats fine with us.

We are very excited for this tour and hope to see a nice turn out..... If anyone has questions, needs directions or needs help with accomidations let me know Im happy to help!

Take care everyone, Danielle (& Chad)

Is the race a handout motor race or do we just have to use one of the "handout" chrome motors?

It is a handout motor race.

ummmm something tells me that might not happen....

This weekend we proved that having the HOT car doesnt always pull in the win! Paul Chagnots car was hot on Sunday, so Chad raced one heat - and the thing was about 2+ laps on all other drivers, only for the transmitter to stop counting! So no matter how great the car, plan for the unexpected...LOL

The BAT has been on fire lately.....reminds me of that commercial for the hot sandwich...where the man sets his whole office on fire....ya know what Im talking about?

I was told paul was fast, but when is he not and teddys car to, sounds as though there the ones to beat. Paul was that a tplate car or solid? Good luck everyone.

Paul's car is a solid and Ted's is a t-plate car.

Danielle
03-13-2006, 07:57 PM
See this is a prime example of why I dont answer any type of "technical" question..the car is SOLID WHITE to me, LOL - I am doomed, Ive gotta find a R/C Cars for DUMMYS book. Is that how you even spell dummys or is it dummies....geeze I need to go back to school....... to "learn my edumacation...."

Bill Johnson

I got an Idea of a couple people who Colaborated, and wrote that book......

Danielle
03-13-2006, 08:04 PM
Well I need it LOL

Hey Question I just got an email from Trinity about this new Clash Wheelie Monster - does anyone know if this would be any good for my son? (he's 6) Chads been in bed all day VERY sick so I cant ask him........if you want I can forward the email with all the details.... but in a nutshell its a 1/20 Scale 4 wheel drive truck...obviously I dont mean to race with the big boys...afterall we all saw HOW RUDELY BILL WAS PUSHED OFF SUNDAY...I wouldnt want my poor son to deal with that crap.. LOL

Brad Sousa
03-13-2006, 08:48 PM
danielle, maybe that would work i got a seven year old boy and any car i've put in his hands he's broken it no matter how slow or solid it's doomed. the best was when i let him try the t maxx at 6yrs old oh boy straight into awooden fence it was doomed. you should have seen his face. the best thing i have found for a small kid, well my son a t4 with a stock motor and a 4 cell pack nothing broke yet and he loves it. oh and a big back yard or baseball field. and he's 7 1/2 now almost ready to jump in with the dad and grandpa at races maybe another year or so. look out that's gonna cost me every time he hits the wall. just my .02. Brad

Danielle
03-13-2006, 09:54 PM
Well thats helpful...Jack being at the track so often he is soooo envious of the men with their cars...he doesnt understand he cant play too. He once had Chads car.....within like 2 seconds smashed so hard into the wall he split the chassis. It was a sad day - flags were at half staff (LOL)...

He is VERY cordinated though, he rides his quad, he has regular RC cars around here, a major computer game pro..and he navigates well, we let him drive alot.... of regular things.... (normal boats, steer the car, and his RC boat, RC cars and his toy riding cars/quad/etc).... I think the bottom line is he would need to start off slow - meaning a SLOWER car to start....so he knows how to control it better before getting into the racing part of it.

Racing wasnt my goal its just allowing him to hear the "beep" for each lap. LOL - or something for him to pretend to work on while others pit.... but that wouldnt need much work ........ or even just something he could run around while the heats have breaks......right now he tags along with the youngest kid(s) he can find watching everything.....

Thanks Brad I will def keep your ideas in mind.

Had a great time yesterday. Chad & K&Nran a great show, very efficient, no waiting around. Also have some suggestions. Sprtsman stock winners should have the option of making the jump to pro stock at the next race after their win. A lso 19 T racers should not be allowed in sportsman. All in all a great time.
