Is there any chance the KOS27 will be roar legal soon.

Is Integy making race motors now?

Yes they are and I would like to know why it's not legal. I know it was submitted. My only guess is roar doesn't like competition in stock or 19t classes.

A reply from Roar would be nice.

First of all, the comment that ROAR doesn't like competition is not only inflammatory but ridiculous....
I will check on the status of the motor submission for approval.

Also, I'm here as much as I can be... not a daily thing but I do check this board. If you need an answer to something quickly, you might try my email - dmsanchez@cox.net of which I check several times a day through my PDA/cell phone. (sends me messages)

Edit: Sunday, 4/23/06

I have inquired as to the status of the approval process for the Ingetgy KOS27.

This motor has never been submitted to ROAR for approval status.

Saw on RC-Tech that it was submitted and rejected because of vent holes. So now who doesn't know.

And it was more than 1 thread. TY

Dawn is the vp of roar. she has told you twice it wasn't submitted as of the time you posted. if you are going to believe what you hear on a hobby forum over a roar official, you deserve the ridicule you get.

Message forums aren't the bible of RC Racing? WHAT?? I can't believe that..... :)

(disclaimer: the above posted is purely sarcasm of which should bear no representation to ROAR or the organization. The person posting the above note is a well known believer of sarcasm to express humor.)

I was looking at this motor last friday and noticed it doesnt appear to be a fixed timing motor. How could this be used as a stock motor and be legal? If it was ever submitted, maybe this is the reason why I dont know. When it was put on the dyno it rev to 16000rpms. Only reason why I looked into it because I was also told they run these down south and performed well, how true that is unknown.

Again, the KOS27 has not been submitted for approval. This motor is NOT on the ROAR motor approval list and is not legal for ROAR competition.
