Is it ok to run rubber tires on the rear end with the buggys. I don't think that they make foam rear buggy tires.

Cory,

Why are you stressing "we"? As mild as the weather has been this winter, YOU ( j/k ) guys might want to consider grabbin' shovels early?

Tracey, I guess they want to have the first race the last Saturday of April.Nick's working on getting the bobcat there. April 21 is the day for the track build, but I would like to think the week prior to that we could start. But you know what happens when you think!

isaac wappes If you want to run that mini on our track bring it on. I've seen those things with brushless motors in them run as fast as any truck or buggy out there.

Probably still too much carpet racing going on to worry about outdoor off-road. I have practiced on the track in Wabash and recieved plenty of emails from rc world.
How was Indy? I would have liked to go but had Easter at the parents going on.

Jon,
There is not that much carpet racing going on that a person don't have time to put something on the forums. It starts in two weeks!

Offroad racing starts Saturday April 29 at noon. Racing every Saturday throughout the Summer.
The previously announced Three Rivers Festival offroad race scheduled for July 15th, will now be the ROAR Region 5 Offroad Championship. The ROAR Region 5 race will be a Friday July 14 practice, with qualifiers and mains on Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th.
This is electric only.
We will keep you posted on more details as they are available.

The website for the track is at summitrcraceway.com (http://summitrcraceway.com) . The pictures of the offroad track are of an older layout, but the layout changes a couple times a year anyway. There are not a lot of pictures up of the offroad track, but some general information on location, hotels, etc. can be found there. The website is due for an upgrade to make it more helpful for such things and to get current info and news up on it faster. I just talked tonight with someone willing to put more expertise into it, so hopefully in the near future you should see some new and exciting things. This is something that people have been suggesting for a while now, and I have to say I'm the one that has been dragging his feet on it.

What tire additive would you recommend, I have a Subaru with a big wing and CS 27's and a 9 turn single? I want to be able to clear the big double!
