I just stripped my idler gear and i bought a new one and put it in. I cleaned everything out and greased everything up real good. I tried to run it and the wheels were real tight but i checked it and they were fine. I don't know what i did wrong.please help!!!!!!!

I don't know what i did wrong.please help!!!!!!!what vehicle? sound slike a traxxas problem if it is your half shaft yoke joints where they couple to the diff with those white yokes are stripped and slipping. if its not a traxxas please specify

yea its a traxxas, he put a fireball in it and stripped the gear, sounds like the drive shafts are binding, or the (idoler :confused: ) is not put in right :wave:

I broke the white piece that holds the drive shaft so the motor is not in. I tried to spin the wheel and it is real tight

I ripped it all apart today and found out that it is the diff. I put it back together the right way and it works now.still missing the yoke though.

had problems with my dif. too, but it was making weird noises. so i ripped it apart to find some of the ball were out of place. put them back in and lubed it with the oddest thing, castorol motor oil, it works great nice and quiet too.
