i just want to inform you...this past week-end i was racing at RCtoybox with the new car...TQ and win at less than a second of the track record in 19T pro!! but i focus more on how to tune a 19T with ajustable timing than i work on my car...my car was so good!! i play more with the amp draw, rollout and spring on the motor than i play with the car...i can't imagine when i will start to play with the car!! this car is so good!!

MikeM 03-08-2006, 12:05 AM Wondering what the thoughts are on camber gain for banked tracks, any different than for a flat track and why?
shrabber 03-11-2006, 06:50 PM Any one got a new or like new slider they want to part with email me @dorkscomputers@comcast.net
Fireball929 03-12-2006, 10:52 AM All I can say is KSG put it on the pole @ lake City RC Speedway for the Jeff Sears Memorial Race. 29 racers in pro stock with some of the best racers in the northeast.
There was 2 KSG, 2 PRO 3, 2 Custom works. This is with the old version. Keep up the great work.
Thanks,

KSG's also TQ'd the Pro Class and won the Sportsman Class.
Great job to all.

BMCALLISTER01 03-12-2006, 08:13 PM Ok how much closer to release of the new car?
latemodel100 03-12-2006, 08:28 PM OMG is all I can say about my KSG,,,,, had one of the local hot shoes help me with it and MAN was I faster. I finally this season grew up and ran some stock and had been having troubles, until this weekend and man was that car fast, and very easy to drive.
Thank you to muddd for the help and to his father who also dialed it in some more.
Good lord am I gonna be faster from now on with a correctloy handling car its so much more enjoyable to drive a car that handles properly...................
Thanks KSG for the car to drive and man can not wait to get back to the track.
ovalrc 03-13-2006, 06:33 PM How about some good news, tell us the new car is days away from being available, please.
Tommy Boy 03-13-2006, 09:41 PM I have the blank setup sheets from Andy in .pdf format as well as in a Word document where I made it editable using text boxes so you can neatly edit your info. It is filled with filler text when you get it, but that is just so you can see where all the boxes are. Just take that out. If you need one, just PM or post your email with which one you want.
Car is getting closer to ship date. Be patient, there's been a lot of sickness around the family that slowed production a bit, but Andy and Jimmy are in full gear trying to get the new car out soon. As soon as a ship date is known, it'll get posted. Hang in there!

If the sheet is for the new car send me a copy of each way and then I can pick. That way I can be ready for the new car when it is available. I was all lined up for a new CW and then I saw the posting of the pictures of the new car and decided to wait.

OvalDad 03-16-2006, 06:38 PM Can someone please tell me what the toe corrector actually does...Thanks
Raptor_MS 03-16-2006, 06:40 PM Removes bump steer......
Align your toe-out to 0 deg's......press down on the center of front end compressing your springs. You will notice that your front left wheel will start to rotate counterclockwise without any input from steering....... The toe corrector removes that.
Kenny
I have heard people say it only fixes it when you run your LF arm up on the caster block, which makes no sense to me since that would actually make the difference even greater. I run one on my cars with the LF arm all the way down and have about as close to zero bump as I think is possible.
haysreeling 03-16-2006, 11:08 PM As long as your upper a-arm is the same angle as your tierod you wont have any bumpsteer....... So if your running it in the bottom hole on the castor block you generally will have none or very little bumpsteer cuz the angles are usually very close. So you really only need it if you run your upper a-arm is in the top 2 holes of the castor block. (the highest hole making the problem most noticeable)
Hays Jr
You know, I hate to tell this person they may be right but I guess I never actually thought that through... It is right. But for some reason the way I have my stuff in my car with the toe corrector on there it makes the angles be the same whereas it wouldn't be without it. I have my funny or something....
raceway1 03-17-2006, 01:21 PM thank you for the sheets Tommy!
trkpony 03-17-2006, 02:28 PM Tommy,
Hit me with a sheet!
Thanks dude,

abdule 03-17-2006, 11:36 PM how about a sheet for an older racer using an awesome KSG car with the ORL series in the east. abdule@zoominternet.net
abdule 03-18-2006, 12:13 AM awesome fast reply.........is there a chance that you might have a set-up sheet for the 1001 ? ( i sent you an e-mail) thanks again)
Tommy Boy 03-18-2006, 12:29 AM No setup sheet for the older car, but you can use the sheet for the Gen2. The "0" front end locators are the standard front end locations for the original XCS. Just mark the "0" as the locators you used. Also, the center T-plate holes are the standard t-plate locations on the original XCS. Those are the basic differences. I could be missing something, but I think that is all. Everything else should translate over pretty clearly.
Tommy
ovalrc 03-18-2006, 08:55 AM I'd like one of those set up sheets also, if someone could send me, thanks. wrbombard@msn.com
speedracer 03-20-2006, 01:06 PM Congratulations to Corey Heft on his win in 4 cell open mod at the Midwest Carpet Oval Championship in Vinton Iowa.
Fireball929 03-20-2006, 06:09 PM Is the new car worth buying if I only run 4 cell stock? I've got a good handle on my old car. I really like the new car but just undecided if I should buy one or not.
Thanks,
Fireball
adamliehr 03-20-2006, 06:34 PM Bank or flat?
Adam Liehr :dude:
Fireball929 03-20-2006, 08:24 PM flat mostly highest banking is about 8 degrees.
Hurricane Racer 03-20-2006, 09:41 PM What does using a longer center shock shaft do?
Hi Kenny,
i think you should buy the conversion kit.....the offset t-plate set-up is really good for flat carpet...this past saturday i reset the TRack REcord at RCtoybox in VT....
